JUTTA
SCHÖNHOFER
MUSICIAN - EDUCATOR - ARTIST
My name is Jutta Schönhofer and I am a musician, music teacher and artist. I love music and see it as a faithful companion and teacher in all stages of life. It brings joy, comforts, encourages and simply invites you to move.
By studying music and movement, I was able to turn my passion into a career. In music schools and primary schools I was able to gain my first experience in group lessons. Today I work as a course instructor for parent-child music, a piano teacher, compose my own music, accompany choirs as a répétiteur and stand on stage myself.
My first instrument was and is the piano. I've been playing the white and black keys since I was five and I just can't get enough. I enjoyed a more traditional education as a child, which was then expanded to include new horizons during my studies. By learning the rhythms of different countries, I was able to move away from reading sight alone and discovered improvisation for myself.
In addition to the piano, I learned a wind instrument at the same time, namely the clarinet. Playing the clarinet allowed me to get a taste of the world of orchestras, ensembles and brass bands. To this day I really enjoy playing the clarinet because it produces such a warm sound.
Also, I love to sing. Here, too, I enjoyed more of a classical education and was allowed to sing in various choirs and ensembles. I also like new music and the best thing is of course being able to accompany yourself on the piano or guitar while singing.
